The fight is still on against the burial of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.
Thousands of people flooded the People Power Monument yesterday, coinciding with the celebration of Bonifacio day, to condemn the sneaky burial and the implication that the late tyrant Ferdinand Marcos was a hero to his people.
A 360-degree drone shot taken by Philip Cheang shows an aerial view of the crowd. It immediately went viral and became the subject of debate between anti-Marcoses and Marcos apologists.
Motorists complained about the traffic caused by the protest, but many have been very supportive of the rally.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) estimated the crowd to have about 2,500 people at around 5pm, increasing as night approached.
