Mother of the Woman Who Died During a Liposuction Surgery Finally Opens up About Her Daughter’s Sudden Death! WATCH HERE!

The case of 29-year-old Shiryl Saturnino stunned netizens and Filipinos nationwide because of the fact that she died during a liposuction and enhancement surgery without any reported reason.

When Philippine Star interviewed Senior Superintendent Joaquin Alva, the chief police assigned to the case, he stated that Saturnino was appointed to undergo breast augmentation, liposuction, and butt surgery.

She went to Icon Clinic in Mandaluyong City on March 25, Saturday and had two doctors perform the procedure she availed of. They were Dr. Jose Jovito Mendiola and Dr. Samuel Eric Yapjuangco.

Howe ver, it was reported that she lost her life during the operation when the doctors found out that Saturnino’s heart stopped beating. They attempted to revive her through mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and even contacted Makati Medical Center for help, but to no avail.

Saturnino was declared dead at approximately 3:21 a.m. It was reported that she came in the clinic at around 5 in the afternoon of March 25 and that the procedure lasted until 2:40 a.m. of Sunday.

There were no other reports given as to how Saturnino died but according to the Alva, they are currently waiting for the result of the autopsy before thinking of the charges that will be filed against the doctors who performed the procedure.

GMA News released a video on their YouTube account that featured Saturnino’s mother finally opening up about her daughter’s death.

According to her, “Paano siya pumanaw? Bakit isinalang siya sa operation kung hindi kakayanin ng katawan ng aking anak,” she said.
