Piolo Pascual Defended Angel Locsin From Her Bashers and Revealed Something About Her Real Personality! Find Out What He Said Here!

Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin earned praise online after she personally visited Marawi City to give relief goods and school supplies to those affected by the ongoing battle between the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Maute terrorist group.
However, some netizens questioned the sincerity of Angel’s kind deeds by saying that she didn’t have to publicize her visit to Marawi on social media.

A few days ago, Angel posted a photo on her Instagram page showing a smoke-stricken area in Marawi. Her caption reads: “Black smoke after an airstrike… #Marawi”
Angel’s rumored beau, film producer Neil Arce, came to her defense. Arce posted a Facebook status, expressing his dismay over those who accused the actress of being insincere.
“I just read someone’s post here on Facebook sabi, ‘When you do charity, do it quietly.’ Saw the comments section as well, ang dami nilang alam. The person you are talking about went to the most dangerous area in the Philippines unannounced and without bodyguards or even government supervision. She risked her life just to help our countrymen. Media picked it up on her 2nd day there hindi po yun pinatawag and hindi pinlano.”
Neil also clarified that Angel used her own money for the visit and that she “wanted to do it as quietly as possible.”

“What have you done to help? What have you done to inspire people to help? Pati yung mga nagco-comment puro press pa kayo bring it on sulat niyo na ko ng masama wala akong paki! I know there are still good people out there but you people bashing people who are just trying to help others, you are scum.”
Meanwhile, in a separate interview, Piolo Pascual also defended Angel from her bashers.

Piolo said:

“Totoong tao si [Angel] eh. Di na niya kailangan ng press. Di na niya kailangan ng publicity. Matagal nang ganyan si Ange eh. She’s an advocate of a good cause.”

A video of Angel Locsin giving a brief message to Marawi evacuees also went viral online. It was uploaded by Facebook user Harizza Sanggacala, a coordinator of a relief operations group called SPMUDA International. Harizza said:
“Ngayon po, hindi ko po alam ang sasabihin ko sa inyo. Pero kasama po ako sa nagdudurugo ang puso sa nararamdaman niyo po ngayon. Sana po kahit papaano eh makagaan po ng loob sa inyo.“
