SBI loan disbursements in Telangana race past ₹10,000 cr. in current fiscal
State Bank of India home and home-related loan disbursements this fiscal in Telangana raced past the ₹10,000 crore mark in the eight months ended November, SBI Hyderabad Circle said on Monday (December 16, 2024).
In the Circle, which covers the entire State, 14,575 home loans and 5,732 top-up loans amounting to ₹10,700 crore have been sanctioned between April and November, SBI said. The bank has 27 home loan centres across the State for processing and sanction of home loans.
Besides home loan, SBI has a wide range of related products such as personal loan against property (P-LAP); home loan top-up; Maxgain -Hybrid; and NRI home loan which are popular and the interest rates on them are competitive, the Circle said in a release on a three-day mega property expo SBI is organising at Hitex from December 20.
Chief General Manager Rajesh Kumar said the home loan portfolio of SBI Hyderabad Circle stood at ₹66,249 crore as on November 30. Various digital enablers have been introduced by the bank in its YONO app for benefit of customers, including one to apply for home loan without visiting the bank branch. The bank has also deployed retail loan management solutions digitising the entire sourcing and underwriting process and digitised the entire documentation process a new platform Document Management Solutions.
More than 50 leading builders of Hyderabad will showcase their ongoing as well as to-be launched projects at the exhibition that will serve as a one stop solution to access a range of residential properties and SBI products. SBI will also offer concession in the processing fee and interest rates to those who book property at the expo.
SBI is market leader in home loans segment in the country and its total home loan business crossed ₹7.95 trillion mark on November 30.
